AIAdd a new production pipeline
- Define the pipeline manifest with stages, agents, and tool references; validate against pipeline_manifest.schema.json.
- Register the pipeline in lib/pipeline_loader.py so it is discoverable at runtime.
Add a new agent skill or production knowledge file
- Follow the existing skill markdown structure: capability summary, inputs, outputs, dependencies, and example prompts.
- Add an entry to skills/INDEX.md to make the skill discoverable to agents and developers.
- Update AGENTS.md if the skill unlocks new agent behaviors or production-knowledge patterns.
Add a new provider (LLM vendor integration)
- Implement required methods: initialize_client(), call_model(), parse_response() to match the provider abstraction contract.
- Add provider credentials and API key handling in lib/env_loader.py.
- Update lib/config_model.py to include provider selection and model-specific parameters in Pydantic schema.
- Document the provider in docs/PROVIDERS.md with credentials setup, model availability, and cost considerations.
Add a new Backlot UI board feature or section
- Add HTML markup and layout structure to backlot/ui/index.html or a new panel template.
- Implement client-side interactivity in backlot/ui/board.js, including event listeners and state updates.
- Add CSS styling rules in backlot/ui/board.css following the existing design system.
- Create or extend a FastAPI route in backlot/server.py to handle the new board feature's backend requests.
